Enjoyed the Wild Wild West on t.v. so when it came out I wanted to purchase this set for my boyfriend; however the DVDs were just stacked on top of each other and they arrived all scratched. Can't be cheap, if a person is gonna spend $80 on it, at least put each individual DVD in its own case. Never even viewed the DVDs, just send them back.Get more detail about The Wild Wild West: The Complete Series.

Too many people are talking about how great the series is and not enough about the Blu Ray, so Ill try to keep it brief and do both

First,

ROME series is FANTASTIC, say that 5 times to yourself, there is not a better series or movie on ROME, PERIOD HBO went all out they went all out so much that it cost to much to maintain and they had to end it despite raving reviews.

Second,

BLU RAY looks FANTASTIC, worth the upgrade if you have it on DVD or the version to go with if you have none (I have both), The image is cleaner, smoother, better contrast, and looks like it was made for the world of HD

Final Words

Buy it, Now, and don't look back, ROME never looked so goodGet more detail about Rome: The Complete Series [Blu-ray].

Our family is a fan of all the seasons. This one is slightly less complex in interpersonal complexity, but the plot execution is generally more relistic. I always have a hard time with those episodes with faking people out with masks - hokey. There are a few here but not many. A large amount of organized crime plots, versus earlier international often third world villians.... we kind of miss those.Get more detail about Mission Impossible: The Sixth TV Season.

We loved Disk 1-3, however, upon attempting to watch Disk 4 - the onscreen menu said it was Disk 3 (even though labeled as Disk 4) and all episodes were Disk 3 again! So, no Disk 4 in the box. Sent it back for refund. Ordered new one....SAME PROBLEM!! Again, sent back for refund. This was VERY frustrating!! We must've been unlucky to get two bad batches? No explanation from Amazon. We did NOT order it for a third time due to the lack of quality control! Has this happened to anyone else? Loved Disk 1-3 though!!Get more detail about Flipper - The Original Series, Season 1.

"Good Morning, Mr. Phelps...." With these four words, Dan (Steven Hill) Briggs is gone without so much as an explanation. I was just getting used to having him around to head up the IMF, and he was nowhere to be found. Gone, but not forgotten.
Not to worry, though. Peter (James Arness' younger brother) Graves was ready, willing, and oh, so capable as the the new, top man.
The leader changed, but not the top-notch action adventure, thrills, chills and cliff-hanging suspense that was the hallmark of this superb hourly series from Paramount Studios.
If I were to offer ANY criticism, it would be that as time went on, the formulaic, somewhat predictable this-is-where-Mr.-Phelps will-do-this aspect of the show, especially at the beginning of each episode where he went through his case with the photos. I know.... picky, picky. My suggestion to you, reader is this.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is.... to add this really terrific tv series to your collection, as I did to mine.Get more detail about Mission Impossible - The Second TV Season.

Low Price Mission Impossible - The Fourth TV Season

This review may contain spoilers.

I borrowed Season Four from my local library. Given that I am VERY familiar with Leonard Nimoy's work as Mr. Spock of Star Trek, I was VERY impressed with his work as "Paris", the newest member of the IM Force. I also had a lot of fun spotting other Star Trek actors and remembering the episodes that I had seen them in, (i.e. who remembers T'Pring from Amok Time?). I enjoyed the fact that Leonard Nimoy, (the former Mr. Spock), was in an episode that involved his "former Vulcan wife".

I was also pleasantly surprised to spot other actors from other TV series from my childhood, i.e. Pernell Roberts, formerly of Bonanza, and Barry Williams, formerly of The Brady Bunch. Seeing their faces again brought back fond memories.

However, the final episode of Season Four, "Martyr", was NOT to my liking! To me, it felt like the script writers took the Star Trek episode, "The Way to Eden" and recycled it. The writers also seemed to have forgotten one very important ingredient....persuading the audience into having a willing suspension of disbelief. This episode expected me to believe that Paris, (Leonard Nimoy), could pass for a 25-year-old college student in 1970. By this point, Mr. Nimoy was well into his 30's, possibly approaching 40, and there was NO way I could believe he was a 25-year-old. Handsome as he is, in 1970, he did not have a 25-year-old face. He was clearly much older than the character he was pretending to be.

Because of the way this last episode of Season Four was produced, I'm giving the Fourth TV Season of Mission Impossible four stars instead of five.Get more detail about Mission Impossible - The Fourth TV Season.

Supernatural - The Complete Second Season Order Now

Supernatural takes lots of imagination to watch. None of the plots are based in reality, though they do have realistic elements. The acting is not superb, but for what the series is, the two main actors do a great job of making the characters believable... and the situations they find themselves in. Seeing how the characters deal with each really dire adversity situation is a hoot.

We actually started watching the show just this season, which is the series 5th season, and we bought all the seasons before just to catch up. It's a lot of fun to watch, and we look forward to watching each evening, since the regular TV fare is generally dismal.Get more detail about Supernatural - The Complete Second Season.
